I brought in photos of [my desired] style, along with photos of my dress and my earrings, necklace and hairpiece. I felt a little silly at first but Sam used everything I brought, looking intently between the jewelry, the photos and my face. He was clearly invested in helping me choose the style that flattered me the most and was able to work his magic without any micromanaging from me. I love being able to walk into a salon and hand myself over entirely with confidence and optimism in the outcome!

On the big day, Sam spent a lot of time with me, making sure that everything was just right. He capably pinned my hair back and made me forget I'd ever considered wearing it down. I received compliments all night. Furthermore, all of my bridesmaids had their hair styled at High Five, and I wound up receiving compliments on their hair as well! The salon itself is adorable - my photographer had a field day - and the staff are all friendly, competent and flexible. I would not hesitate to recommend this salon to anyone!

Sam finished my haircut early one day and we had like 20 minutes before his next appointment. We ran around the corner and grabbed coffee.

I once came into the salon just STARVING and Sam, who'd only brought an apple for his lunch that day, gave me his apple.
